"Behind every great touring band, is a great crew!"

Meet some of the the crew for the 3 O'Clock Parade tour!

- He's the man with a plan! As their Production Manager, Bobby has been with Jars since the Fall of 1996. He started in the midst of the "Flood" frenzy so he's seen it all. Bobby is an accomplished drummer and often jams with Steve for hours before concerts. His nickname is "Honyock." He said somebody called him that one day and it just stuck. If you squint your eyes, he looks a little like Ringo Starr! :) Meet Bobby Simmons!

- Let there be light! Hailing from Clarksville, TN, Glenn is the lighting engineer. Ooo, ah, wow, nice! When not with Jars, he sometimes spotlights Bonnie Raitt. (Can you imagine a Raitt/Jars tour? Bonnie and Steve would probably be fighting over the red hair dye!) Taking care of Billy is Glenn's responsibility while they're on the road! Mind your rhino! The one and only, Glenn Felton!

- Whenever he is not plotting several international monetary coups, he is the sound "genius" of Jars of Clay. The Jar guys don't really have any talent; it's just Vance working his magic! :Þ He's a "Mac addict" and will tackle any PC/Mac debate with fervor. Rumor has it, in a former life, he founded the band ZZ Top :) He's also been known to sport a ram's horn Viking helmet. Let's get ready to rumble...... Vance Powell

- Sam, Sam, the guitar man. If he can't tune it, nobody can! :) Rumored to be the hardest working crew member on the 3 O'clock Parade Tour, Sam is Jars' guitar tech extraordinaire! He got a new hair style especially for the fall tour! ... Mr. Sam Shifley! (Everybody play air guitar in lieu of applause!)

- "Thirty-one, thirty-two, thirty-three ..." Don't mind him; he's just counting something! Paul is Jars' merchandise specialist! He likes Pearl Jam and has a brand new orange "iBook" notebook. Ask him about the old days when he had an "afro." ... Paul "don't touch the hair" Stanfield!
