Usually, song titles are taken from the lyrics of the song--but not always.
Out of the scores of songs Jars of Clay has recorded, there are a few that
fall into this unusual group with titles "missing"--from the lyrics, that
is! For February's contest, we asked you to identify at least 10 of the 12 Missing Title songs from the albums listed below.
Confused? Here are some examples:
THE COFFEE SONG is a Missing Title song, because even though the word
"coffee" is repeated throughout the lyrics, the phrase "the coffee song"
does not appear.
FRAIL *almost* qualifies, because the title word is not in most of the
lyrics. But then, at the very end of the song, there it is--so it's not
really missing after all!
