Our November 2004 contest celebrates God's call to Jars to serve those in Africa who are tragically suffering and dying because of the devastating HIV/AIDS epidemic. Jars of Clay's Blood:Water Mission is preparing to launch the Thousand Wells Project this coming Spring, which will raise funds over 1000 hours (about 40 days) for the building, rebuilding, and repairing of 1000 wells in urban and rural communities in sub-saharan Africa. These fresh water sources will provide hope to the villages whose many children are left orphaned because of this disease.
Below you will find 10 lyrical clues from Jars of Clay songs which in some way represent God's plea for us to love the least and the lost through the ministry of Blood:Water Mission. You were asked to list the name of the song in which the lyric line is from. As you can see, the beginning letter of each song spells out B L O O D : W A T E R.
Congratulations to Marlowe Holguin for winning November's contest! Jarchives will send a $50.00 donation to Blood:Water Mission in Marlowe's honor.
