August 2005 Contest: Recurring Themes 2 (Contest created by Libby Perry) May 2005's first Recurring Themes Contest was such a success that we thought we'd try it again. Jars of Clay songs often speak to us so clearly that we believe the song was written personally for us and applied to the life situation that we are currently in. God continues to use Jars' music to help walk us through the hard seasons. This contest explores the theme of our personal realization of our own sin and how through confessed sin we grow closer to Christ. We're going to make this contest a little tougher. Last time we gave the album name and clue for the song. This time we'll just give the lyrics of the song that reflects the theme and you can match it to the song from the list below.
