"LIQUID" REACHES INDIA

Dear Jars,

My name is Julianne. I am currently working in India as a missionary. Something happened to me the other day and I wanted to share it with you. I have been a faithful fan for a long time and I really appreciate the message that Jars sends out to our generation. Your music has touched my life many times.

While I have been here in India, God has given me the opportunity to do many things. For about a month, three other Americans teens stayed with me and we were able to minister a lot in crusades and large meetings. I choreographed a drama to one of my fav Jars songs, "Liquid". It was a powerful portrayal of the crucifixion and God's redeeming power. The Lord used the drama to touch many lives and we saw salvations and miracles at those meetings.

Anyway, that really isn't the reason I am writing, though I did want you to know that. Getting to the point: I was having dinner at a restaurant here called "Marry Brown." It is the equivalent to an Indian KFC/McDonalds. Needless to say, it is a treat to go there and have a taste of the good ol' USA. Because of the poverty here in Madras, only very high caste Hindus and very prominent Muslims are able to afford to eat there. All of these people speak English as well as Tamil and Hindi.

Anyway, I was sitting there, enjoying my chicken sandwich when a familiar tune rang out over the loudspeakers. I thought for a minute that the heat had gotten to me and I was hallucinating. "Liquid" was being played halfway around the world and Hindus and Muslims were hearing the gospel! It was amazing. No one here of staunch religious standing would ever enter a church, so exposing them to the gospel is difficult. Yet it is happening each time your song plays in that restaurant. I wanted you to be aware of what an impact you are making all over the world.

Thank you for sharing the love and hope of our saviour through your music. Rest assured that God is using it far more than you will ever know. You will have rewards in heaven for the investments that you are making on earth.

Thank you again. Keep shining your light into this dark world!

God Bless,
Julianne Wotasik
