\nSteve recently sat down for an interview with Fervr<\/a> to discuss Inland<\/em>, Blood:Water, Jars 20, and more. Here’s what he had to say about the thought process behind\u00a0Inland<\/em>:<\/p>\n

…How do we journey into the Mystery? Because life is Mystery. There are surely things we do know, but I would argue that living the best life means submitting to some Mystery sometimes, and doing the best we can with what we know, which isn\u2019t going to be everything, all the time. That\u2019s a good deal about what Inland is about. Specifically, we wrestle with relationships between God and humanity, the relationships between humans, between husbands and wives, fathers and sons. So I think Inland is really about the nitty gritty, the work of how do we love well, and how do we venture well in the life we\u2019ve been given and the time that we do have on earth.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
