JB Baird, “Jars of Clay” Engineer, Passes

JB Baird, the recording engineer for Jars of Clay’s self-titled album, has passed away.

From Jars of Clay’s Facebook Page:
It is with sadness that we say goodbye to our old friend, JB Baird. He went on to higher ground after a hard bout with cancer. If you loved the self-titled Jars of Clay record, JB was the engineer on that project. He served with such humility, gentleness and passion on any recording he worked on. We know that his thumbprint will be immortalized in the sounds of that record and in the memories we have attached to that season of creativity as a band. Please pray for his family and the music community that will miss him… He was/is the stuff of heaven/stuff of earth.

JB Baird

As a memorial, friends and family of Baird are encouraging donations to  Christian Friends Of Korea.
