Charlie Lowell Interviewed by New York Minute Mag
New York Minute Mag interviewed Charlie about the creation of Inlandia, a remix project featuring songs from Inland:

Inlandia was a pet project for me, because I love discovering new music. I comb music blogs, and devote a lot of energy into seeking out new music. It sounded fun to try and play that part for others as well. I really enjoy the communication and networking that goes into the process of finding new music. I also like the idea of helping our fans discover some artists and records that wouldn’t otherwise be on their radar.

Speaking of Jars of Clay’s PledgeMusic campaign, the band was featured recently on the PledgeMusic blog for their creative approach to a “greatest hits” album:

In the past 20 years, Jars of Clay have had an incredible run in the industry. From Grammy Awards to global tours, the celebrated band has released 11 studio albums, helped found a major non-profit in Blood:Water Mission and generated several chart-topping singles. Now they’re intent to reward the fans who have treated them so well with a new PledgeMusic campaign actually giving the audience control over which 20 songs to include on a new acoustic project. The fan-curated album is a creative and interactive way to connect with fans and celebrate such a tremendous milestone.
