Jars of Clay: Please play a StageIt concert in September to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Much Afraid!

*Either that, or they could release Blame. That’d be cool, too.
Much Afraid is one of the greatest albums of all time. Of all time!

In 2014 Jars of Clay celebrated their 20th year as a band with much fanfare; we think Much Afraid deserves a little love, too. This informal petition asks the band to perform an online concert sometime in September to commemorate this monumental anniversary.

It’s been over two years since the band’s last StageIt. If you’d like to see another web concert from Jars of Clay, add a comment to this post!

If we hear from the band, we’ll send you an e-mail letting you know about their response. We promise not to use your e-mail for anything else. (You will not be added to a list!)

While you wait, check out this old promo video for Much Afraid:

  1. This would really make my September. I’ve been missing your live performances. Pretty please with monk fruit (0 glycemic index!) sugar on top!

  2. DO IT. Please. Pretty Please. With sugar on top!!
I would totally drive to Nashville to witness this one!!! My favorite album above all albums by Jars or any other artist, for that matter.

  3. Is there a more detailed Jars Gigography besides Setlist FM?
I saw them in or around Nashville sometime from 2000-2002. Leaning more towards 01/02. I’m pretty sure it was a church type venue and it was kinda stripped down. Maybe more of a charity gig. It also probably would not have been during the summer months or during Christmas break, because I went home during those times.
